London Fashion Week special: Edeline Lee SS18 Collection

This year was the first time I went to London Fashion Week, and I cannot describe how amazing it has been. I am going to write a few different posts of my favourite collections and I thought I would start it off with the incredible Edeline Lee.

It explains in the press release that she wanted this collection to ‘build upon her previous work, consistently exploring what it means to be a woman and how to dress a woman’ Lee travelled to the ‘Mexican badlands and was inspired by the idea of feminine courage.’

Her use of textile manipulation was truly beautiful with twisted knots to exaggerate the female form with almost origami style embellishments and clean cut exaggerated shapes, I was completely in love. I also really enjoyed the muted colours of the collection but with pops of aqua, rose and gold to really show the intricate details of the craftsmanship.

As this was a presentation and not a catwalk, I managed to get some really beautiful photos, so I hope you enjoy them.
