Makeup Obsession Review

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Makeup Obsession launch, when it first released. However due to my job changing at the time I never got around to blogging about the products.

If you haven’t heard of ‘Makeup Obsession’ before, they are a brand made by TAM Beauty, so basically this is a sister company to Makeup Revolution. The whole idea of this particular brand however, is that you can make your own palette, so it can hold lots of products in one. They started out with just highlighter, eyeshadows, contour shades and blushes. But they have recently released, lip and brow products too! Prices for the pans start from only £2! And the palettes start from only  £6, so you can create your own palette from as little as £18! This brand is stocked in Boots and is always in their Emporium department, so you can even get the palette engraved, if you fancy it.

I now own three palettes. So hold on to your seats boys and girls, I am going to take you on a journey to swatch heaven!

So above was the original palette I put together at the launch, I chose lots of different types of products to test them out. So in this palette there are:
Eyeshadows, highlighter, banana powder, powder contour, cream contour and strobe cream highlighter.

After swatching the eyeshadows for the first time at the launch, I was so impressed by the formula and pigmentation of these products. I was actually stunned when I found out they started at £2 a pan.

As you can see from my swatches above this is a warm neutrals eyeshadow heaven! They are so creamy and soft and blend like a dream, but my favourite thing is the fact the pans are so big compared to other brands. You really do get a lot for your money!

So above is a highlighter palette I made consisting of strobe and powder highlights. My favourite is the bottom right pan called ‘Pop’, it is a green gold highlight that is very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon child palette ‘Lucky Clover ‘ pan.

Next is a cute peach palette that I made. This has eyeshadows, and highlighter that are perfect for an every day peachy glow.

Above are swatches of both palettes, I absolutely love the formula of these products and as you can probably tell I will definitely be back for more.

I really think that the name of this brand is more than correct and you will understand if you have tried them.

Have you tried makeup obsession?

 Are you obsessed yet?

Lots of love

Jordan
